Temecula Valley School of Nursing is a small family owned business and established by Administrator Maria Cordita in 2014.  It is a school / Training facility offering Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aid (HHA), Restorative Nurse Assistant (RNA) programs that is located in the Inland Valley community.  Temecula Valley School of Nursing we care deeply about the program we offer to our community and take pride on students excelling to continue the career path they choose in life.  Temecula Valley School of Nursing brings forth an affordable programs, nurturing instructors and challenging learning environment .

PROGRAMS

Certified Nurse Assistant 

To become a CNA, applicants must be at least 16 years of age, meet the pre-screening requirements, submit fingerprints upon enrollment, complete a minimum of 150 hours of training and successfully complete a State competency exam upon completion of the training.

This program provides instructions and practice basic patient care required for Nurse Assistant. Skills practiced include patient assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, transfer and positioning, vital sign measurement, intake and output measurement, restorative care, and communication. Students will practice supervised basic patient care in a clinical setting prior to completion of the program.

Home Health Aid

Home health aides must be able to do personal care, basic cleaning and cooking chores and must be willing to act as a companion and helper to the sick or disabled. They must be certified by the State Department of Health Services, which requires 48 hours of training. 

Senior Patient

Restorative Nurse Aid

Students MUST be a current CNA, LVN or RN to be able to take this certification. This course is designed to help CNA's, LVN's and RN's gain new skills and confidence in their existing skills. Students will learn to care for residents who have completed a therapy program and is also designed for entry level to experienced CNA's that are currently working in a skilled nursing facilities.
